The present, streamlined civil applications systems and procedures of the city is a commitment to both the President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's State Of Nation Address and the Good Urban Governance Campaign. It is the city's way of reciprocating the investments exposure and dynamism of the city's present 10,000 commercial and industrial establishments.
Human Resources
The phenomenal growth of the city is largely due to the peoples’ industry, unity, and strength, as characterized by the Mantawi vine. With an annual growth rate of 6.06%, the city is now host to more or less 280,000 residents. Among the city’s twenty-seven barangays, Subangdaku registered the highest population count at 19,171 residents (2000 Census), followed by Banilad at 17,265.
